Gravity cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours deep brown with a bubbly, beige head. The nose has burnt ginger, roasted malts, cocoa. Light-medium sweet flavour with rounded chocolate, a little red pepper, more burnt ginger, bittersweet chocolate. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with some ginger spice, more roast, soft ash, baking cocoa, a little peppery note. Fun stuff. Comes together pretty well.
