Cask. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. NIce grape nites. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Cask at the Plasterers Arms, Norwich, 16/02/17. Lightly hazed amber with a decent off white head. Nose is toffee, spice, biscuit, brown bread. Taste comprises biscuit malt, figs, fruit loaf, light spice, caramel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter edge. Decent enough bitter.

Cask at Castle Tap Takeover, 14/01/17. Faintly malty aroma. Hazy chestnut. Thin but solid white head. Sweet and spices. The maltyness really comes through. Light bodied. Chalky. Long, slightly astringent, finish. Decent enough for a bitter.

Cask gravity at Olafs Tun Southampton. On the SilkTork Southampton through the looking glass tour. Clear brown colour lasting beige head. Brown bitter. Earthy hop on the finish. Cold not much condition. Ok brown bitter.

Cask at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge on 26th June 2015. Slightly hazy copper with off-white foam and plenty of lacing. Caramel malts and earthy yeasts in aroma. Leafy herbiness in-mouth with fine citric tang on the tongue. A touch of phenol. Grassy, bitter finish. Lightly zingy mouthfeel and fair body for strength.

Cask-conditioned at the Hope & Anchor, Bristol 22/3/2015. Deep amber with a frothy, off-white, head. Sweetish malts, a hint of marmalade, leafy hops and a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. Hazy pale chestnut with a thin cream head; fruity aroma; slightly sour fruity taste, with some chocolate malt adding depth and dryness; and a pleasant citrusy leafy bitterness to finish. Very drinkable.
