Cask the Crown Inn St Ives. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, brown bread, cereal and light floral. The taste is quite light, bitter, brown bread, earth, cereal, dull citrus and light floral notes with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Simple, easy drinking bitter.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 8th July 2014. Copper with thin off-white foam. Grassy and citric (lemon) and malt aromas. Citrus lemon, berry fruits and malts in-mouth, combination not overly sweet. Soft fruity finish - solid but lacking bittereness. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body.

Bottle whilst on hols in St Ives. Hazy gold - amber beer. Tidy off white head. Palate is dry and minerally crisp. Mildly bitter floralness to start. Airy dry malt in the mid, some cream. Minor peel hops bring up the rear. Finishes dry.
