Craft100 fest at Craft Clapham. Cask. Almost clear dark red - brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate,.semi dry with very light carbonation. Mild dark malts but they do carry a bitter roast streak. Plummy tangy fruits underneath. Fairly dry finish. Bitter linger. Okay.

Cask at CPK, London on 14th March 2014. Sepia black with tiny ring and scant lacing. Rich roasty aromas. Coffee, hazelnut and smoke in-mouth with all three of these in fine balance. Fiery spice, biscuit malt and lasting roastiness in finish. Light mouthfeel and body. Superb porter.
