PBF 2013 festival special
August-ish – Junga (a.b.v. 4.1%), due to get a darn good showing at the splendid Peterborough Beer Festival (20th – 24th August), this golden ale will take full advantage of the blackcurranty, grapefruity characteristics of this lovely Polish hop.

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Almost clear gold beer with a small white head. Very good floral notes blend well with an almost Sorachi Ace like mellow citrus. Light dry finish. Just a really nicely joined up beer. Very drinkable.

Cask at CBI, London on 31st August 2013. Crystal clear gold with thin off-white, part-lacing foam. Cheesy, grassy aromas. Rich hoppiness in-mouth; savoury soft cheese and grassiness with citrus and a bitter core. Slow departure of flavours in the finish leaving a bitter resonance. Crisp mouthfeel and light body. I found it a delicious beer.
