Cask at Craft Beer Co, London on 5th July 2012. Slightly hazy gold with thin vanishing white head. Almost no initial aroma, but very pleasant cheesy and hoppy notes in-mouth. Grassiness and herbiness provide a kick. Leafy finish - bayleaf, with bittersweet background. A very pleasant ale -disappointing aroma is well compensated by the remaining flavours. Pleasant, light mouthfeel.

Cask at the CP&K, Scopey’s Birthday Bash. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light palate, fairly dry. Low carbonation - especially for a lager! Mellow grapefruit hop with a trace of orange. Light dry finish with a mildly bitter aftertaste.

Cask at CPK, London. Pours clear yellow with a fine, foamy head. Toasty biscuit nose. Medium sweet flavor with some dry biscuits, light toasty sugar, a bit of sweet hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet to finish with light, bitter hay, some mild white sugar and biscuity malts. Fine, easy drinking beer. A very decent cask lager.
