Our Weyermann® Oatmeal Stout catches your eye with its pitch-black color and its fine, beige head. The roasted malts lend this beer their characteristic aroma and – combined with notes of vanilla, chocolate and caramel – invite you to take your first sip. This enticing aroma and the soft and creamy texture from the oatmeal provide a unique tasting experience with hints of licorice passing over the tongue. A chocolaty finale concludes this wonderful drinking experience.
This delightful beer is an ideal companion for smoked meat and fish, the finest of blue cheeses, and chocolate-based desserts.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before August 2025. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and slightly fruity aroma of caramel, cocoa and some raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly fruity taste of caramel, cocoa, raisins and some hazelnut, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant beer, not overly Stout-like though.

Updated: our second bottle of this went down nicer than the first. Coffee, dark chocolate, and a mild berry tartness that didn’t feel like the beginning of an infection. 08/2021: Different name and ABV from the previous oatmeal stout brewed by this brewery. Dirty brown with a thin, beige crown. Traditional aromas: roasted grains, dark chocolate. Taste is bitter with slight sour twist at the end. Not bad but that sour note is more reminiscent of an infection than anything fruity. The faint sourness fades as quickly as it comes. Finishes with a dry, mineralic taste on the tongue. Interesting. 2.9
