Cask gravity at the Pig's ear beer festival 05/12/2017. An amber clear brown coloured pour with a halo of off whtie head. Aroma is weird sweatygrains, soapy notes, super sweet flabby grains. Palate is sweet and solvent, headache inducing alcohol. Boosty.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2017, day 1 - London. Pours clear, orange-gold with a light, creamy white head. The nose holds doughy pale malts, ripe citrus fruits. Medium sweet flavour, with notes of caramel, crackers, low bitterness. Medium bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with more pale bread, subtle leafy bitterness, more caramel. Not terrible.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear 2017. It pours clear deep amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is earthy, resinous, wood, brown bread, tropical fruit vibes, mango in particular and some oiliness. The taste is slick, oily, wood, resin, grass, grain, orange peel, peach, apricot, peach ice-tea, tannin and hop sack with a drying finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth – feel. Pretty punchy and chewy stuff. A bit rough around the edges perhaps.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, a few pale cream colour bubbles. Light palate, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Very grainy malts. Some serious cereal action here! Ripe orange before more chewy cereal. Terminally grainy and God awful.
