Koura is Mãori for golden, but the Antipodean influences to this strong wheat beer don’t stop there. Copious amounts of Australian and New Zealand hops provide tropical fruit flavours and a lingering zesty finish.

Panda from LCB. Cloudy gold with small white top, little retention. Aroma is yeasty with citric notes, soft white bread and spice. Taste of toasted grains, yeasty citric lemon and lime esters, floury bread, spice. Light bodied and yet chewy in the finish. It does have a refreshing quality on repeated sips and I also like the fact that a traditional brewery is trying to brew something a little different to the norm. Its not very tasty though sadly.
