Pigs Ear. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, a few white bubbles for a head. Thin dry palate still has decent fine minerally carbonation. Good condition if a bit dry. Thin dry pale malts provide a modest sweetness. Decent orange and a little orange peel. Touch of tangy lemon and a pinch of lemon sherbet. Light dry finish leaves a mild orange peel linger. Nice flavour but thin and dry.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2017. It pours clear yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is straw, grass, orangey citrus fruits, peach, nectarine and candy. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, slick, green, grassy, stone fruits, peach, melon and the like. Finish is slick. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth – feel. Has a thicker / heavier feel than one would expect for this style. Not bad nonetheless.

Cask at Pig's Ear '17,day one, 05/12/17. Clear golden copper with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange peel, straw, toasted malts, light breads. Taste comprises tangerine, melon, bread dough, lemon drizzle, toasted grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok cask sessioner but lacking hop dynamism.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours clear gold with a bubbly, white head. The aroma holds pale bread, tangerine and melon. Light sweet flavour with low bitterness, peach, melon, supportive pale malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good balance in the finish, more prominent fruity hops. I like it.
