From keg at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Aroma is roasty with chocolate, coffee, and milk chocolate. Body is light with a nice bittersweet flavour. Good dry Stout, nice aroma, I like this.

Reminiscent of a Guinness cold. Decent taste though, roasty. Don’t like the nitro. But it’s alright

Keg at Brewdog, Oxford, Sunday 31st January 2018 we are off to see Seamus Fogarty and This is The Kit to night at the O2 Dark brown with a slim off white head. A little bit roasty from the off but needs a second or two to warm up in the hands before any other flavours come through. Malty, a little spent coffee grain, it's a bit thin and little going on really. A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov11 2.9

Jet black with dark creamy head. It starts out fairly light and mild but all of the roasted malts and burnt bitter tones come through in the aftertaste.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear 2017. It pours darkest brown with a bubbly white head. Thea aroma is earthy roast, tar, charred wood, cookie dough, dried fruits and a touch of dirt. The taste is dry, earthy, toasty, roasted malt, ash, charred stuff, dried fruits, wood, straw, chewy malt and stewed black tea with a drying finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine carbonation. This comes across a bit tannin after a while. So-so.
