Cask gravity at the Pig's ear beer festival 05/12/2017. Aclear nut brown coloured pour with a halo of beige head. Aroma is petrol, roasted pine, roasted barley. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, cakey malts, some solvent alcohols, piney hops, woody notes, green hop. Palate is medium sweet with moderate carbonation. Nice.

Cask at Pig’s Ear 2017. It pours deep brown with bubbly beige head. The aroma is rich, sweet, oily, bright fruity vibes, tangy marmalade, touch of smoke, whisky, vanilla, candy and marshmallow. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, toothy, chewy malts, booze, tar, resin, wood, stewed black tea, cocoa and some warmth through the finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Fairly bitter actually. Decent, but I am not sure the balance is quite there.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours brown with a light, foamy head. The nose holds peat, cleanser, well roasted malts. Light to medium sweet flavour, with nips of lime peel, more peat and ashy roast, suggestions of dry cocoa. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, with more citrus peel, bitter ash. Not bad.

Pigs Ear Beer Fest. A straightforward beer with some whisky notes. It gives the aroma and adds to the bitter taste. Bit of a pointless exercise.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Clear deep brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, light roast. Mellow dark chocolate. Nice spicy fruity whisky. A touch of creamy whiskey. Dry finish, mild bitter linger. Nice flavour but a little flat, would have liked this on keykeg.
