Can from the brewery. Pours a dark, mahogany brown, with a tiny off white head. Aroma is fruity, plums, and cherries, with some an amaretto thing going on. Light brown sugar, and toffee linger also. Mouth feel is quite thin, and the carb is very very soft, almost flat. Finish is sweet, but not overly. Dark fruit, and cherry/almond/pistachio thing going on, its interesting, not sure i like it though. A for effort, and creativity.

This dark poured a deep red colour with a creamy, dense foam head. Nice lacing. Scents include Maraschino cherry, nuts, Quik cocoa, alcohol and butter tarts. First swig was interesting. Flavours of cherries, cocoa, vanilla and nuts are most prominent. Finish is a little burnt with cherry and cocoa flavours lingering.

Perth Brewery is always finding new interesting flavourful ideas. This one really works. Pistachios ?! Who would of thought ? Clean copper colour with a big frothy-creamy beige head, good retention and some foamy lacing. Vanilla nose with cherry notes over the darker malts which are lighter in the mix. With time, chocolate malts come out. The pistachios are felt in the taste giving a nice nuttiness to the beer. The vanilla is lighter and the roasted malts lingers with a tad tartiness. If you like cherry cola and beer, this is a beautiful blend. Very good for the holidays.

A dark reddish copper brown lager with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light vanilla, nutty notes, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light pistachio extract, vanilla, light powdery character, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
