Light amber and a slight haze, lots of papaya, a bit of orange, just slightly overripe. Lots of alcohol, fairly bitter, orangey hops, not bad, but a bit too boozy.

A pale golden DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of California hops, piney and pungent, light citrus, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light piney notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Great Divide Brewhouse DEN.

19.2 ounce can, found on sale for 6 bucks - pretty glad I didn’t pay full price for this, as it basically has every drawback one might dread in the style - overly sweet/syrupy - strongly alcoholic, despite the (relatively) low abv - strong but muddled hop character - finish is simply, over-sweet, boozy - the 25th anniversary big yeti was, at the end of the day, at least mostly enjoyable - this beer is hard to like.
