Tasting at Oakes' Manor, can
Black colour, small compact head. Robust Imperial Stoout, just some light residual sugar, the coffee adds quite the green pepper to it. Ok beer.

341mL can, pours black with a small beige head. Nose brings out loads of cardamom and coffee upfront, with earthy notes to back. Flavour is full of harsh coffee, cardamom, and intense earthy notes. Earthy and coffee-dominated. On the harsh side, but it's pleasant.

Dark brown, with a thick head. On the nose, this has a decent chocolate character. OK, lots of coffee, has a nice full body. Ok balance.

12oz (thx, Phill S.!) shared with Andrey. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: coffee, sweet, roasted malts. Taste: along the same lines, a bit roasty with noticable bitterness. Overall: pretty good.

A deep dark imperial stout with a thick frothy lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with herbaceous hops, light licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of coffee, licorice notes, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. On tap at brewery.
