Shipped to me by my wife on a trip to Portland. Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a caramel-amber color with a medium sized orange-white head that lingered and produced some lacing. The aroma was strong sweet pine, grapefruit and pineapple. The flavor was very sweet and malty with a strong presence of grapefruit, pine, and pineapple and undertones of sugar and caramel. The finish was long, tangy, sweet and fruity. Full bodied. The alcohol was well hidden. Marvelous.

Thanks to juiceisloose for sharing this beauty. Pours deep gold with copper core and thin white head. The aroma is up front hoppy with an even mix of pine, grassiness and resin with a pleasing level of malt sweetness and graininess creating adequate support for the hops. The taste is very well balanced between black tea, malts, graininess, resiny pine hops, grassy hops and some citrusy grapefruit too. Very tasty IIPA.

Bomber from Liquid Solutions. Pours copper with a little foamy off-white head. Aroma suggests cat pee over roast malt. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. There’s a lot of all kinds of hop in here. Pine stays the course. It’s not harsh, but there’s a lot of hop. It finishes hoppy. Woot!

22 oz bottle purchased at Malt and Vine in Redmond, Washington. Brewed October, 2nd week, notched on the label. Pour is hazed golden orange with a one inch off white head that falls with nice lacing. Aroma resin grassy hops and full grainy maltiness. Some orange peel citrus and caramel sweetness under that, but mostly about the resin hops. Big, bold and balanced - nice nose. Taste follows the nose with big grassy resin hops and toasty mild sweet caramel malt in nice balance. The fruit sweetness is not really present in the taste, but the citrus peel bitterness comes across. A bit of alcohol poking through on the finish along with pine. Palate is medium, finish is dry and bitter - with more of the pine. Alcohol becomes more pronounced as the beer warmed. Nice one.

Bottle thanks to AmEricanbrew. Pours with a decent sized off-white head and a golden body. Aroma of citrus, pine, dankness, and caramel. Taste is tangerine, pine and all sorts of hoppyness. Light bubbles and a dry, low residual sweetness.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Grapefruit and light earth aroma. Grapefruit and light pine flavor with light caramel and summer fruits. Medium-plus bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit, pine, summer fruit and light caramel lingers.
