Alouette is a Sour Saison in collaboration with Brasserie Dunham. We used several hundred pounds of fresh High Bush Cranberries which provide a juicy, acidic tartness.

Draft - Reading the other reviews, maybe I got the wrong thing or a last pour. Farmhouse and blue cheese. Clearish gold with a frothy white head. Sour candy sweetness and a long finish.

Draught at Ginger Man Boston, 3/31/17.
Hazy, light-rosey-peach body is topped by a small, creamy, off-white head showing moderate to moderately-low retention.
The nose is heavily "powdery" for lack of a better way to describe it. Like a minor infection or else just very strange acids at work mixing with a strange sugary malt character. Difficult to describe, but suffice to say not very cranberry-like (some very light, tart skin and vegetal character is the extent) and certainly no saison character.
In the mouth it’s equally confounding with some tart, rather astringent cranberry notes that you have to struggle to find any real cranberry juice or flavor from. Light white bread and table sugar from the malt, dispersed by a medium amount of loose carbonation. Very strange and not good.

Amazing mix. Hoppy and a fruity top. Cranberries blend well like with apple juice. Pinkish pour with good head and lacing. Tangy and sweet finish. Great collab, and always great to drink Dunham stuff. Tap at brewpub.
