12 oz bottle from World Market, Bakersfield. Nose is light pumpkin, nutmeg, and cloves. Clear amber orange with a medium beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet and spicy pumpkin pie. Not the best pumpkin ale I’ve had but no where near the worst!

Purchased at Total Wine on my trip to Vegas. Pours a golden-orange colour with an off-white head and decent lace. Fresh pumpkin purée smell with biscuit malts and nice soft spices. Thin mouthfeel and the taste is pretty much the same as pumpkin filling for pies. Definitely the closest thing to fresh pumpkin spiced purée I had in a pumpkin brew.

12oz bottle pours clear copper / gold with weak 30 second near white head. The aroma is big with winter time spices, pumpkin, graham cracker and an out of place sense of lime. The taste is similar starting with fairly bold winter spices and then quickly picking up pear like sweet fruity esteriness before the pumpkin notes join in the fray. This is an interesting brew that slides in and then out of cohesion as it meanders its way into the finish.

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours with a pale golden body and hardly a wisp of white head. Aroma is watery with notes of minerals and rotten jackolantern. Crap. Taste is fake spice and seltzer. Not good

Bottle from Whole Foods in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber with a small white head. Aroma is primarily pumpkin pie spice. Less than medium body with sharp carbonation. Flavor is pie spice, but it’s almost perfumey. Settles down to more standard pie spice. Then the perfumey returns with each quaff. Interesting. A tick. Not likely to do another.
