16 oz. can from Molly's Spirits in Lakeside, CO. Pours a crystal clear dark ruby color with a tight beige head and very good retention. Good lacing too. Dark roasted aroma. The taste follows the nose: Sweet dark roasted malt flavor throughout, with maybe some chocolate in the finish. Borderline Schwarzbier. Medium+ body. Medium-light carbonation, just enough to keep it lively but not fizzy. Not bitter. Silky smooth mouthfeel. A really good porter.

Dark brown, thin body, touch of cocoa, lowish bitterness, and lacking residual sugar. I am looking for something to latch onto, and I am not finding it.

Black with a creamy, beige head. Dark chocolate aroma. Spice. Licorice. Taste is roasted bitter, finishing with both chocolate and coffee overtones. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation. Straightforward, traditional porter.

Keg at the brewery, 1/24/22. Black, large creamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate. Taste is roast, chocolate, cherry. Nice.
