Black with a light brown head. Roasted grain aroma with a touch of milk chocolate. Taste is roasted bitter the whole way through. The highlight is the body—creamy, silky perfection with good chewiness. Nice!

Keg at the Railyard location, 1/23/22. Black, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate. Taste is chocolate, earth, resiny hop. Full bodied, well balanced, almost chewy.

Sampled from the tap at the Railyard location. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has strong roasted malts with some bitter dark grains backing. Flavor has a combination of dark grains and roasted malts with a bio tomfoolery bitterness in the finish.

Dark brown. Not much head. The aroma is quite chocolatey with light sweet malt notes. The palate is a little bit chocolatey as well, with a light fudge character. Not a lot of bitterness, but the sweetness is not cloying, so it works out quite well.
