Cask at the Jolly Butchers on 27th April 2011. Dark copper with creamy head and full lacing. Rich nutty maltiness in-mouth and a lingering end featuring grassy hop. Smoothish mouthfeel.

Clear gold beer, tiny white head. Low carbonation. Fresh hops but slightly odd - lemongrass - could almost be Sorachi? Piney and nettley hops in the background. Light semi dry finish. Pleasant ale - but a crisper palate would have made it even better.
