Our second DIPA, brewed as a reminder to cherish and celebrate what is, before it inevitably becomes what was. Mindfully hopped with Citra, Amarillo, Sultana, & Ekuanot.

Pours a very murky/hazy, banana-orange, with good-sized, lasting head. Heavy citrus aroma, with some tropical fruit and pine-hops. Flavor is very citrusy--lots of grapefruit, with grass, and piney hops. Pretty smooth and balanced. Slightly bitter finish. Really, really good beer. I think this might just be my favorite hazy, double IPA...

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - London. Pours soupy orange with a creamy, mostly white cap. Ample ripening citrus in the snouty, some pale bread, mango. Medium to big sweet flavour with lots of chewy, almost jammy citrus fruit character, some white pepper, orange peel, pine, alcohol. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Somewhat warming and resinous in the finish, with a little bit of dryness, more rindy bitterness, some pine, bread. Certainly rich and tasty. Just a little ham-fisted at times. But overall, a very enjoyable brew. (Early August 2017, score: 4.0)
Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours murky orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The nose is a little dank, with nips of papaya, pineapple. Medium sweet flavour with mild piney and rindy bitterness, some semi-ripe citrus fruits, orange especially. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Resinous finish, with light warmth, more somewhat juicy fruits. Solid. (Late August 2017, score: 3.9)

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. Pours murky orange gold with an off white head that quickly thins. Aroma is fresh mango, orange, a pithy bitterness but predominantly juicy sweetness. Taste is mango, melon and orange with a soft bitter finish that lingers, there’s a hint of booze in there but it’s really soft and drinkable. Good stuff.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours crazy cloudy creamy orange with a small white head. The aroma is big green character, weedy, grass, dank, pine dust, very ripe stone fruits, apricot, mango, persimmon and papaya...pretty great. The taste is smooth for a moment, then has adecent hit of green bitterness, dank, weedy, green, pine, needles, resin, lick of alcohol, spice, papaya, marmalade, bread, brioche, hay and some warmth with a drying finish. Fresh and flavoursome. Maybe a touch boozy but still pretty great fun.
