Double IPA d’épeautre aux houblons Citra, Mosaic et Galaxy.
Cabale, notre Double IPA brassée avec une quantité importante d’épeautre. La texture de cette Double IPA est bien particulière, légèrement huileuse mais plutôt sèche. Des arômes intenses de mangues, de fruit de la passion et de pêche sont au rendez-vous. Nous annoncerons deux autres bières qui seront disponibles à notre brasserie du secteur des Hautes-Plaines plus tard cette semaine.

Murky pale blond colour, compact head. Less fruit than other DIPAs from Bas-Canada; the mouthfeel is smooth, thick, a bit starchy, with light residual sweetness; minimal hopburn and alcohol in the finish. Missing the fruit punch, but alltogether it's good.

16oz (thx, Alex G.!) @ Alex's garage during the movie night. Appearance: murky pale golden with a white head. Aroma: tropical fruits, some sweetness. Taste: along the same lines, very juicy, smooth, low to moderately sweet, fruity, no bitterness. Overall: very nice.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours very hazy gold with a thick white head and some lace. Aroma is very floral and Galaxy-driven with guava, lychee, pineapple, some sweet orange juice and banana creamy roundness, mango accents as expected, very lightly dank. Flavour is smooth and Galaxy-driven as well, guava, lychee, mango, tingly pineapple, some melon, round doughy soft malt base that's lightly sweet and boosts orange pulp and a little banana, before finishing lightly peppery with floral fruit rinds, pineapple and citrus zest with fairly low bitterness. Medium-bodied, soft carbonation, slightly creamy. I was expecting a touch more pop from this hop power trio than there was, and it was definitely a Galaxy forward beer, but quite enjoyed.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a white frothy head, decent stay and a little lacing spots of foam. Tangerine nose with some mild grassiness. The mouthfeel is juicy with some good dryness in the end. Enough bitterness, with the citrus zest and peel flavours. Again, tangerine and some clementine. Some decent grassy notes linger. A pretty good DIPA with spelt.

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of juicy citrusy hops undertones with some malt notes also perceptible. Taste is a mix of juicy citrusy hops undertones with spelled malt notes also perceptible and light residual sugar notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable double NEIPA with spelled notes bringing an extra dimension.
