Lightly hazy, golden-orange colour with a big frothy, warm-white head, good retention and creamy-foamy lacing. Herbal-grassy aromas on the West Coast style side, with a caramel malt base and hints of citrus. In the taste, seems like the East Coast style comes over top with the citrus zest, some of its juices and just a tad grassiness in the finish. Soft mouthfeel with a drying end, but all quite refreshing. A tad tart left on the tongue. A nice Double IPA that blends both coast styles very well and goes down nicely.

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of huge citrusy hops undertones with nice juicy notes. Taste is a great mix of huge citrusy floral hops with some juicy hops notes with some residual sugar notes also noticeable. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation. Solid NEIPA with great drinkability.

Dégustée le 01/02/2021. De beaux arômes de pamplemousse avec quelques notes calcaires sur un base maltée aux accents de biscuits. Un peu de verdure accompagne le tout. Le fruité des houblons ressort très peu et l'olfactif est en général difficile à cerner. Liquide doré orangé, opaque et flou se couvrant d'une mousse moyennement épaisse et très persistante. Une entrée de bouche bien maltée avec de beaux accents de biscuits suivie d'un fruité à chair blanche aux notes de poires, de melon au miel et de fruits à noyau. Houblonnage assez original. L'alcool est bien présent, assez fort et se démarque au lieu de s'intégrer. Une légère touche de caramel supporte le fruité des houblons. Le corps est moyen à léger et la texture fraiche et onctueuse. Malgré quelques points négatifs, elle demeure très originale et agréable à boire. O:7.163 V:4.333 G:6.737 B:3.992 O: 17.063 T:39.288
