Cloudy to murky yellow colour, small head. The aroma is garlicky. Good body strength, moderately sweet, the malt base is mild, some bread, the hopping is moderately juicy, with the bitterness on the low side of things. Very good.

Can: Poured a cloudy/hazy color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry hoppy notes with some citrusy floral undertones. Taste is also a mix of dry leafy hops with some citrusy hops notes and a dry finish with light residual sugar notes. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Hops flavours are little bit off and not as smooth as I was expecting but still enjoyable.

16oz (thx to some good person in QC, hehe) shared with Alex @ home. Appearance: cloudy pale golden with a white head. Aroma: mix of tropical fruits, some slight booze. Taste: along the same lines, quite carbonated, moderately sweet. Overall: pretty good.

O: 7.9 V: 3.0 G: 8.45 B: 3.6 O: 15.5 T: 38.45

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours very hazy pale orange with a thin but stable white head and lots of lace. Notes of grapefruit pulp and peel, mango and peach nectar, leafy hop vibes with a bit of weed, especially through the middle to finish of the sip, moderately sweet sugary malts up front but drying considerably in the finish with light bitterness, a big whack of grapefruit peels, and a bit of alcohol warmth emphasizing the drydown. Medium-full oily body but extremely low carbonation. A little different than most Boreale IPAs are, with less aggressively leafy stuff into the finish and no hop burn, I guess this may be the Sir John influence. Quite a nice one.
