Pretty clean, golden colour with tiny bubble carbonation. The head is soft, almost creamy with again, tiny bubbles, good retention and some light lacing spots. Brett nose with the earthiness, sourness, funkiness, some citrus notes and hints of bananas. These hints give out the barrel-aging in the taste with mild woodiness, vanilla. Refreshing mouthfeel that is kind of crisp, with the citrus, mild grassy hops and funk. Not a bad barrel-aged Saison.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of nice rustic malt notes with some dry cereal ester and light oak presence is really refreshing. Taste is also a great mix of nice rustic malt notes with some light oak presence and a sharp dry aftertaste with light peppery yeast notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Solid barrel-aged saison with good mix of drinkability and complexity.

Wild and winey aromas on a fruity and spicy background. It smells young and lively wine accompanied by stone fruits, white-fleshed fruits, cardamom, pepper, all coated in tones of old farm. A large, creamy foam settles on a golden, fuzzy liquid and persists for long minutes. Tangy, winey and fruity starter. Its wild side is well balanced with the aspects of wine barrel walling. The fruity side stands out well and fits perfectly into the palette. The spices, however, are muted and express themselves very little, except for a very fine touch of pepper. The body is slightly round, the alcohol well integrated and the effervescence rather soft. We lose a lot of elements of the season in the wine barrel wall. The emphasis is on the winey, the wild and the fruity in order.
