clear amber pour, fluffy white head. Nice bready malty aroma with some nice creamy subtle hops, and a little spicy. Flavor is a touch spicy with some nice hops, and agreat bready finish. Interesting beer, really nice, and drinkable.

Pours a crystal clear copperish amber with a fluffy white head that leaves ample lacing on the way down the glass. Aroma is spicy with a touch of phenolic, some fruity aromas and some caramel malt hiding in the back. Tastes toasted malts with a spicy bite from the rye. Leaves some bitterness on the palate in the finish. Medium body with a drying finish. Different, not something I might drink everyday, but certainly enjoyable.

On draught at Bodega, thanks to JaBier for sharing. This beer is a reddish-orange color with a thin white head that fizzes away steadily. Thin rings of lacing. Grainy malt and hops in the nose. Medium body with a moderately hoppy character. Some doughy malt flavor and very little rye is evident. The finish is malty with a light bitterness on the back end. Just averaage overall.

A nice dark golden ale with a thin white head. Pleasant cinnamon wheat aroma, candy like. In mouth, a sustained graininess, malt, fresh mash, sustained bitterness. Much better than their other offerings. Served at room temp. On tap at Mahars, Albany, May 31, 2008.

Bottle: Poured a clear red color ale with a nice foamy head with average retention and no lacing. Aroma of bitter hops with nice caramel malt profile are very well balance. Taste is also a well balance mix between some deep caramels with subtle nuts with a medium bitter hoppy finish. Body is quite full with some good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well done overall and easily drinkable.

Bright orangey-red colour. Mild toasty, caramelly aroma. Toasty caramel taste, lots of rye character and chewy breadcrust. Decent.

Bottle courtesy of Beershine and Oakes. Pours reddish amber with off white head. Mostly bread in the aroma. Rye comes through slightly in the flavor. Medium body with average carbonation. Overall a decent brew.

Beige head and a reddish body. For me the aroma was of sweet malts mostly. Didn’t really get a sense of the rye smell. Taste I guess had some rye in it. Slight hint of alcohol, but nothing that made the taste any worse. Little bit bitter. Flowers and fruits as well in there. The beer had a lot of different flavors and a strange mouthfeel. Overall, I would say that is was pretty good.
