Unsere craftige Hommage an die Saisonarbeiter und den ländlichen Lebensstil im französischsprachigen Süden Belgiens ist mit einer speziellen Saison-Hefe gebraut, durch die das Bier die für den Bierstil typischen Hefearomen erhält. Gemeinsam mit den floralen Noten des australischen Hopfens Enigma ergibt sich eine genussreiche Symbiose, die zu einem trockenen, erfrischenden ausgewogenen Bier mit fruchtigen Hopfennoten, dezenter Süße und einer Prise Pfeffer führt.

355 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Distinct and pleasant aroma of spicy and peppery saison yeast, and spicy hops, followed by unripe bananas and ripe yellow plums. The flavour is dry and crisp, spicy and peppery, with a fairly distinct bitterness in the finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a lacing, white head. Very yeasty nose, minerally and spicy. Lightish body, loads of fruit, again yeast with an extremely bitter finish - getting rather astringent. Some things good - some things overdone to the extreme. 201117

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, fruity, fruity malt, citrus, moderate yeasty, saison yeast, fruity yeast, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, zesty, yeast, saison yeast, citrus, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle.Pours clear straw with medium white head. Aroma is caramel, brown sugar, biscuits, herbs, flowers, dandelion, hay, fresh wood and grain. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter and light acrid. Body is oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes of sugar, caramel, flowers, lemon and hints of banana.
