Bottle from Beer Gonzo, shop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Thursday 19th October 2017. Pours hazy gold with a white head. A beast of a beer, substantial mouthfeel the bourbon surprises me as it adds to rather than smothers the other flavours. Malty, very sweet, warming and the hops do their thing but this is all about the strength and rather crazy fact that it's a 16.3% beer. Not getting the mango, cedar wood a touchy of maybe. Very interesting. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle at L42 - thanks to Kenny. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is big oaky vibes, vanilla, bourbon, creaminess, dried fruits, stewed citrus, tropical vibes and even more wood. The taste is bitter - sweet, oily, juicy, apricot, peach, big oaky vibes, vanilla, warming alcohol, chewy action, spice, tannin and a good hit of alcohol. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Big stuff. Very chewy and oaky. Fun in small measures...

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - big thanks to Krazy Kenny. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. The nose has a lot of pale bread, honey, vanilla. Medium to big sweet flavour with certain notes of alcohol, pale bread, meringue. Full bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with more rich pale bread, angel food cake, ripe lemon. Novel. Drinks pretty well given its strength.

Bottle shared on Level 42 26/09/2017. Many thnaks to Kenny for this one. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is big solvent alcohol, vanilla, oak, white oak, pine and orange. More like a barkey wine. Flavour is composed of vanilla, orak, grapey fruit, pine, caramac bar and apricot cream. Palate is semi sweet, hot, moderate carboantion. Big boozy. Not a big fan of this.
