The 3 Johns. Keg. Clear amber beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts, mildly sweet. A mild tang. Light and semi sweet hop floralness. Trace of citrus. Light semi dry finish. Clean but not doing much for me.

Keg at the Three Johns, 04/10/16. Rich golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is light citric fruit rinds, corn, toasted grains, straw. Taste comprises bread dough, pale malts, corn bread, straw, lemon drizzle, faint caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a grassy linger. Ok.

Keg at Craft Covent Garden. It pours clear rich amber with a medium off-white head. The aroma is brown bread, earthy, toasty, cereal, wood and toasty grain. The taste is bitter, toasted grass, spicy, cereal, very earthy, cracker and leather and damn spicy through the finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a patch of the citra version imo. Fair.
