6/3/24. Not sure where I got this but I suspect Kat S. had something to do with it. Clear yellow, thin white head, average retention. Aroma of pickle, spice, pale malt. sweet orange. Taste is pickle. pickle. juice, pale malt. Juicy, lingering spice.

Ok the pickle gose is pretty good. Moderate pickle taste but the base gose is clean and bright, well-balanced. Comes together well, for something I should hate.

From a 12 oz can. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aromas of, well, pickles. Flavors are a bit salty but with fair amount of sweetness to balance. Think sweet gherkins. Tastes much better than I expected.

17 October 2022. At Bosque Brewing Public House, Albuquerque. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: clear golden, small, foamy, white head.
A: fried pickle & pickle juice, cucumber, salt, onion peel.
T: sour & salty pickle juice, cucumber, vague coriander.
F: tart & salty pickle, bit soapy.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Not bad for a pickle beer, but damn, so much pickle.

On tap at Bosque, pours a clear nasty greenish yellow colour of some sort with almost no head. Aroma is salty and briny, with lots of pickle juice. Flavour is briny and salty, with lots of fresh salty pickle juice, citrus and salt. Somehow this works okay — wtf? Surprisingly good.

Clearly a biased review since pickles are the one food I absolutely detest. Gold with a frothy, white head. Mild pickle aroma. Taste is a mix of sour and salty with a long, pickled finish. It’s only real selling point is the relatively toned down feel of the pickles. Hate pickles..
