Cask handpull at Nelson Arms Tonbridge. Clear deep gold colour lasting white head. Some malt presence. A bit of biscuit. Some light hops on the finish. A decent golden bitter. Good condition and temperature. Very drinkable. Good balance of flavours

Bottle from Tick Beer. Clear amber-gold with small but well formed white head. A fairly standard malty aroma with light toasted grain and caramel. Taste again malty with caramel notes but with resin, marmalade, herbal bitterness. Light to medium bodied, lightly cloying on palate, below average carbonation for the style. To be fair this has more to it than the aroma suggested. Very drinkable but no wow factor here.

Cask @ Firkin Shed, Sherbourne. Golden with a very thin head. Decent bodied hoppy ale with a hint of sweetness and quite a low bitterness.

Bottle ordered from Tick Beer, Dorsetshire. Aroma had a tang if citrus alongside veg infused malts. Clear amber. Thin translucent white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Tart citrus and quinine. A tad marmalade. Grainy. Malty hints but the hops dominate. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Not as drab as I feared. Not a chicken dinner but no turkey twizzler.
