355 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.8%. Orange to amber colour, moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of citrussy and piney hops, hints of orange peel and caramel. Medium sweet flavour, firm hoppy character with notes of mandarin and oranges, piney and bitter finish. Good stuff.

(Can, 0.355 l - BB Feb 21 2017, at Oljenkorsi, 20161216) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and bread. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, bread, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and intensely bitter. A good and quite bitter brew.

Fra 0,33 boks på Mi2 Cardinal, des-16: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Mandarina er en av mine favoritthumler til hjemmebrygging, og denne er riktig god - selv om jeg synes både smak og aroma har mer preg av (bitter)appelsiner enn mandariner. Fin, tørr avslutning.

From can at Mi2 at Cardinal 05.12.16. Hazy orange. Diminishing white head. Fine aroma of tangerines. Fine and well-balanced taste of tangerines, dried tropical fruits, pine and sap. Medium bitterness.

Hazy amber and copper coloured body with a nice, but smallish two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of full oranges, bread, yeast, curacao, grain, malt, alcohol and quite a bit of citrusey hops. Medium-bodied; Super assertive grassy and citrus hop bitterness up front with a big deal of grain and malt, but the hops show first, then the fruit takes over - a lot of orange flavours throughout. Aftertaste shows a bit of caramel and earthy notes from the malt, but the hops and orange citrus flavours dominate. Overall, a very nicely styled IPA with a ton of orange flavours and a great hop bitterness - perhaps one of the best Orange-based IPAs I’ve ever had - definitely worth trying if you can find this and you like either orange-based beers or IPAs in general. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Binny’s Beverage Depot in Chicago (Downtown), Illinois on 25-May-2016 for US$1,67 sampled at home in Washington on 30-October-2016 a few minutes after finishing the USMC Marathon with my wife, congrats Amanda!

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours coppery gold with a slight beige head. Citrus aroma. Suggests peeling a "Cutie" or mandarin orange. Near med body. Flavor is juicy citrus and some slightly roasty malt backbone. Sort of zesty and decently bitter. Works for me.
