Draught @ 67 Kapitali, Valletta. Pours a hazed yellow, white head. Wasn't sure what to expect from this, prickly pear can be quite earthy and not too sweet. Unfortunately it came across quite thin, airy and distinctly bitter. Perhaps a hint of melon coming through on the close. Not a lot else to say.

Appearance - golden with a light haze and a proportionate white head.
Nose - prickly pear for sure, also apple and melon.
Taste - more prickly pear and melon.
Palate - light bodied soft and juicy middle with gentle zest on the finish.
Overall - nice.

27/4/2024. Bottle shared at fonefan Ulfborg tasting. Courtesy of Mario, cheers! Pours hazy/cloudy pale straw gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is citrus, lime, guava. Moderate sweetness, quite bitter. Medium body, foamy carbonation. Seemed a little muddled.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso rimanda alla frutta tropicale. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido appare velato. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, agrumi, pompelmo, ananas, arancia amara, limone, lime, guava e frutta tropicale.

ABV: 7.0%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, exotic fruit, citrus - guava - lime - orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, pale malt, fruity malt, exotic fruit, citrus - guava - lime - orange. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240427]

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are hops, fruits, malt, flowers and has a nice hoppy finish.
