This amber ale has a subtle hop backbone that shows off a complex malt character with crystal malts from Chile. They display the common characteristics of caramel, toffee and lightly roasted flavours of crystal malts but with more depth and presence. Malty goodness, medium body. Amber in colour with a hint of caramel malt on the nose. Flavours of biscuit and crystal malts are balanced with herbal hops. Slight bitterness on the finish.
Our amber ale took home the bronze medal in the Amber Category out of 20 entries at the 2017 Ontario Brewing Awards.

Tap at the source. Light copp is a pour with a medium white head. Aroma is soft cereals, light grasses, hints of bready. Perfect mouth feel, and carb. Cereal finish, grassy, well balanced. Excellent drinking amber.. Clear and crisp.

This amber poured a hazy, beautiful, reddish amber colour with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel and biscuit. First swig was delicious. Flavours of toffee, biscuit and light hops. Finish is nice and malty with those delicious caramel flavours lingering.

Straight amber pour, ring of white head. It has that ashy malt that I come across every once and a while, mostly in stouts. Not my favourite. Sweet malt, caramel. Not loving it.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark plum-brown color with a large foamy tan head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was toasty malts, caramel and a light vegetal note. The flavor was sweetish with caramel, toasty malts, a light vegetal presence and mild astringency. Medium length finish. Medium body.

A clear dark amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light mineral notes, light grassy hops , nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with light nutty notes, light mineral notes, light grassy hops, OK. On tap at brewery.
