Third, keg, shared with Finn at Tap Social Movement. A beige head over a jet black body, dotted spots on the glass. Roasted dark bread on the nose, hints of chocolate malts. Blended malt-driven taste profile of liquorice, chocolate, dough and a backdrop of dried fruits. Roasted endnotes. Fine bodied. Like it. (Oxford 25.10.2019).

Keg @ The Wolf, Birmingham. Pours black, good tan head. Malty roast on the nose. Taste presents a grainy, roast, chocolatey character with a soft caramel sweetness underneath. Decent stout.

Keg tap at the King's Head, Leicester. Dark brown, almost black, with a small but thick tan head. Smells of coffee and tar liquorice, but it's also got a metallic note. Simple bittersweet taste, turning slightly sweeter in the finish with caramel overtones. Heavy carbonation. Not overly exciting but really solid.
