on tap at the brewpub. The lemon stands out big time, and battles the lactic sourness. Huge lemon notes, oils, and zest are way upfront. Mouth feel is nice, carb is good. The finish is very tart, lactic notes show no signs of fading. This is an interesting mix, also pretty refreshing, and clean too, with a dry finish.

Lightly hazy bright yellow colour with a white fizzy cap that stays a little while, then disappears really quickly, leaving no lace. Lemon citrus sourness with some yeastiness and mild, wild ale funk. The funky sourness does come through in the taste with a decent puckering lingering. Some yeast, tart stays. Not much else, and not getting much of the lactose in this one.

On tap at Indie Alehouse, pours a clear dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lacto and gentle lemon upfront. Flavour is full of lacto upfront, with lots of lemon, yogurty lacto, and floral notes. Yogurty and lemony. Okay.

(On tap @ Indie, Sept 28/18) Pours rather hazy gold with a small white head. Notes of sweet-tart lemon curd, Meyer lemon/lemon zest, leafy hops, grass, creamy lactose, lactic acid yoghurt twang giving a little extra tartness so the balance is medium-high on both sweet and sour. Finish carries on the sweet-tart balance with lots of lemon, citrus, and fresh leafy hops, fairly lightly bitter. Medium body, slightly creamy, effervescence to the carb. Not sure if earlier batches were as extensively dry-hopped, but the hops add another dimension and make this really tasty and balanced. Super-quenching.

At indie, Cloudy yellow, sheet of small bubble head. Mild vinager touch of lemonade. Sweet wild mild lemon and sharp sour. Decent, light sour. Rerate April 2018, so hitting the spot had to bump the rating up.
