Oldham Beer Festival. Golden with a small head. It’s a higher bitterness ale with fruit evident but by no means dominant in its character.

Bottle courtesy of dad (cheers dad), consumed at Lynn & Barrys, Wednesday 19th March 2014 Pours hazy light gold with a slight luminous quality and a white sticky head. Superbly hoppy, in fact superb beer, lots of stinging lemon but this settles to a nice bittersweet end. The finish is dry, its a lovely bitter, the first I’ve had from this brewery but certainly not the last. Love the lemony bitterness. A7 A4 T9 P4 Ov16 4.0

Bottle from Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy, pale golden colour. Thin, white head. Grassy, grainy, some soapiness. Taste is fleetingly sweet, with a big, grapefruit juice bitterness. Medium bodied, with a long, pithy, bitter finish. Very nice, tasty session beer.
