A collaborative Double IPA brew with our friends from over t’hills, Cloudwater Brew Co. Golden Promise, Wheat, Oat and Crystal Malt were used for a smooth, golden, malty body. A combination of Magnum, Citra, Simcoe, Eureka and Mosaic T90 hops were used in the whirlpool and dry hopping, with additional Citra – ‘Cryo Hops™ Lupulin Powder’ added in the dry hop. Fermented with US ‘Double IPA’ yeast, the result is a massively fruit-filled DIPA with loads of Mango and Peach aroma/flavour and gravity-defying drinkability. Strap yourself in!

Can from Wine Rack at Yarnton Nurseries, Yarnton, Oxon, consumed at home on Pond Building Pt2 Weekend, indoors now, preparing Swordfish Burgers with Artichoke Escalivada and Smoked Paprika Sherry Mayo, Sunday 30th April 2017 Dirty gold with a slim white head. This never tastes like a 8+%beer, really surprised. Lots of fresh zappy hoppiness swishing around in yer mouth, a little grassy, resiny and with a citrus flurry. It’s good but I am a little underwhelmed. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Can with the Taps 1MK tasting crew, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium orange amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, citrus fruit, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a big tich tropical fruit alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not a DIPA fan but this beer is nicely balanced and the alcohol does not dominate.
