Keg at Brewdog Waterloo. Clear amber gols. Foamy white head. Aroma has malts and corn with a citrus edge. Sweetbedged citrus with a slightyl bitternedge. Underlying malts. Light. Thin. Soft-flat carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough lager. Had far worse.

I've cold cam, procured from BD online. It pours crystal clear lager yellow with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is sweet upfront, woodruff, grass, floral, sweet white bread and muted green bean character. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, grassy, leafy, floral, bitter - sweet character, fairly clean malt base, toasty grains and nip of spicy wood with a dry finish. Average body and moderate+ fluffy carbonation. Right now this is what I needed to quench they thirst. Not bad for the style.

Keg draught at Doghouse Hotel, Manchester. Light lagers yellow and clear with a big foamy white head. Light lagery aroma, of corn and lemon. Light taste, sweet with hint of bitterness and a short finish. Something else... smoke? Wood? Herbs? Nah it's gone. Light body with heavy carbonation. Not altogether terrible but very little going on.

Taste comprises dull fruit, corn, cereals, hedgerow.
Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close.
Fine for the style.

Clear pale golden pour with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lace. Aroma of malt, corn and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, corn and fruit, plus a hint of grassy hop. The finish is clean and malty with a fruity aftertaste. Average overall.

This stuff was on the tap menu simply as Sweetwater Lager. Come to find out its actually the american lager. After a flight into Pgh airport last night I wanted to try a brew. I wanted to hit penn brewery, but at 8:30pm they were closed already? WTF? I found this lager at they only place serving beer in the airport at the time, Bufords. I paid $10 for a small draft of this, one of the biggest rip offs at the airport. Additionally, the waitress was extremely rude, she was wearing an ass hat, and it wasn't pretty. The tap was just marked sweetwater, and when I asked what was the name of this brew, she cringed and said; 'what are you? some kinda walker texas ranger, just flew in from texas?' PMO, then I chuckled to myself, I just wanted to know what style. I'm not ever going back to that place again, and it wasn't even busy, no wonder, whew. You'd think for a $10 - 12oz pour, I'd get a little smoother friendly bullshit - but no. Anyway, thanks for plowing thru this rant, now I feel a little better. As far as the draft goes, it was pretty good. Started off with a clean fresh nose with very nice co2 level. Taste was friendly with just a tad of processed feel to it. In the middle, it was good flavor all round, nothing really ill in character. No bitterness, smooth noble hop feel about it. Kind of refreshing after I was treated like shit. Anyway, even if this was the best beer ever, my overall beer tasting experience was ruined by this place. The only venue open for a draft in the airport at 9PM on a friday evening? Come on, you got to be kidden. Pgh airport has been getting quite sucky lately for beer tasters. Even Bar Symon was closed early.

Very basic, a mix or corn and grain sweetness with a touch of white bread and maybe a hop or two on the finish. Not much here, folks.
