Handpull at the Queen Edith, Cambridge. Really dark for a cider. Almost golden brown. Flat. Vinegar, oak, apple skin and anger in the aroma. This is serious. Taste is fruity and sour but there’s a pervading sweetness which keeps the balance. The finish however is an enamel-stripping dryness. More oak and cider vinegar in the aftertaste. A cracking trad cider.

Tap at Cider Tap, Euston. Deep golden colour, no head and fruity aroma. Taste is tangy and fruity, with some earthy notes. Medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK.

Draught @ Euston Cider Tap. Pours a rosy gold with a fruity aroma. Taste is medium sweet, accessible with a polite scuzziness and a nice sharp fruitiness. Nice.
