Mjango Unchained is a fruit-fuelled blockbuster that will liberate drinkers from the slavery of cruel beers. With Mosaic Hopper in the lead role and Mjango Puree in a supporting performance, it’s an explosive romp of floral aromas, zesty citrus one-liners and adult themes of mango throughout. A crescendo of flavour rides off into the soft sunset, with bitter memories lingering on the palate.

On cask at Prospect of Whitby. Slightly hazy orange body with a white head. Aroma of bread, butter, grapefruit, lemon juice and lime zest. Taste of hay, lemon juice, lychee, grass and some pine. Sour with a moderate bitterness. Not bad, but I'm kinda sure that sour IPAs/pale ales are not my favs.

Cask @ Scarborough Hotel, Leeds. Blonde and extremely hoppy with a slight dryness to it. Its mango was not really found on this occasion.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - sulphur and in large quantities. Towards struck match rather than rotten eggs. Apart from that none of the fruit associated with APA style, just astringent pale malt. Taste - it's the same again. It's like someone has dropped their fags in a pint of something that was struggling to makeep the mark already. Palate - thin and astringent throughout. Overall - there's a problem with this beer. Don't know if it arrived at the pub in a bad state or if something subsequently happened. I've had beers from the brewer before and they can definitely brew.

Cask at the Haymarket. Pours clear pale golden with a thin white head. Aromas of sulphur, struck match. Taste is bitter, more sulphur. Weird, and not in a good way. Faint mango if you look for it. Watery finish. Bitter linger.
