Bottle at Braustelle, Koln, Germany, Friday 28th March 2014 Golden colour, a little hazy, nice sweet/sour tang. Pushy and assertive beer, the alcohol shows but doesn’t get in the way too much. The nose is something of a hotchpotch, fruity, yeasty with a hint of sourness. I like it, I’ve had better but it’s good. A6 A3 T8 P3 Ov15 3.5

Hazy light amber-brown. Thin head. Aroma shows a lot of yeast. Taste is full if malt, with a lot of phenols, some sharp and some hinting at bubblegum. Fizzy for a strong ale. Ok strong beer...could be an ale....a bit lacking in polish.

Bottled at Braustelle. Dark brown-orange with a fine head. Malty nose, fruity, some strange yeast characteristics, port. Malty, winy flavor, caramel, raisins. Grassy, bitter hops. Syrupy at first, goes to very bitter. Nice, but still needs work. Reminds me of an amberbock I once made.

37,5cl bottle @ Colin’s. Hazy orange color, small to medium sized white to off-white head. Smell slightly malty, some sourness, rubber. Is that intended or is the bottle infected? Taste malts, pretty alcoholic, lightly sourish. Again: intended or infected? The slight sourishness doesn’t really harm the beer’s taste though, it’s quite decent. Medium to full carbo, medium body.
