Cask @ Salopian, the pub. Pours a generally clear gold, white topping. Aroma is pale malt, floral nose with some citric fruit hints. Taste is clean, nice soft pale malt, some gentle fruity citrus nods without being too imposing. Really rather good.

As Gold Pale Ale. Hazy matt pale golden colour, good creamy white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma pale malt, pear, citrus, grass. Mild flavour, medium sweet and bitter, malty, dusty, light fruit. Bit thin dry bitter finish, fruity and spicy notes. Besides the colour and the thin finish a nice fresh pale ale.

500 mL bottle from Lavery’s off licence. Added this one to the brewer’s range due to the differences in abv and flavour profile. Pours a golden amber, hazy with yeast sediment. Nose is fruity, herbal, a little hefeweizen or Belgian white-ish with the lemon and coriander coming through. some piney hops. Taste is lemon rind, pine and spruce hops, herbal tea. Thick oily mouthfeel.

Cask @ Belfast Beer Festival [141114]
Blonde, hazy, thin rim, no head
Aroma - fruity nose of sweet peach and apricot, fresh sweet fruit nose
Taste of sweet fruity malts, soft sweet peach and apricot, light caramel, bit yeasty, taste not quite as good as aroma
Palate - Medium light body, bit oily. Finish as main flavour, a bit dry, sweet fruits, getting a slight salty? sensation on the tongue in the afters
Overall - Came across as quite a decent golden ale, the aroma was the best aspect of this beer
