Trapper’s Packs (or pack baskets, Adirondack baskets, hunting baskets) have been around for centuries. Generations of outdoors people have made use of these carefully crafted packs that are the result of the blending of 17th century French explorers and American Indians’ cultures blending. Electric yellow, with a dainty haze. Layers of canteloupe, lemon-lime, pungent pine, and lemon balm settle in the aroma. Flavors of strawberry, watermelon, and tropical fruit meet melon, lemongrass, and spruce tips in the wheat forward, medium body. A pithy hop bitterness lingers for a moment so you can think about what you’re sipping. As relaxing as that perfect afternoon in the Autumn woods.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt yellow to orange haziness with a finger and a half of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mixed berries, lime and lemon hop tones then subtle tropical fruity hop tones; clean sweet wafery malts
Flavor: melds the prior note aromas to a fine bittersweet semi-juicy quality; finishes mixed berries and tropical fruity hop toned
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness, light dry tones and some light hop burn
Overall: great aromas, great flavors just needs that hop burn cleaned up for this to be a stellar one.

Very much a stereotypical bad NEIPA, with huge vegetal and chive notes overpowering any juice or pine, and an increasingly astringent mouthfeel leaving plenty of hop burn. Not good.

Cheap four pack grab. Yellowish brew with a large soapy head. Nose is citrus rind, and soap. Tastes of melon, lemon, soap, bitter grapefruit pith, sunflower. Milky palate.

Pint at the brewery is a murky yellow with some creamy white head. Nose is OK, lemon and orange, soap, some tea notes, a bit over done. Herbal. Flavor is definitely overdone, herbs, citrus, heavy malt, melon, pineapple. Drinks bigger than 6.4%.

16 oz. can. Aroma is melon rind and lemon. Flavor is similar to a watered down fruit cup. ( Not in a bad way ). Shows a lot of fruit character, lemon, red berry, and melon. Even something similar to a fruit cup. Very soft citrus rind bitterness. Overall, it drinks pretty easy.
