Bottle 660ml. @ [ Chriso’s pre- Xmas Tasting 2015 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Vestfyen Willemoes Jul 2015 ].Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sugary, molasses, sweet malt, boiled malt - mesk. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, mesk, boild malt, caramelized malt, sweet malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151206] 5-4-6-3-12

Bottle. Pours opaque black with medium light brown head. Aroma is apples, prunes, fresh apricot, soy sauce, caramel and metal. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter and light to medium acidic. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly bitter with notes of soy sauce, coffee, caramel, burnt sugar, apples and hints of whisky. - - - - Retasted at 2022-12-07 (annother bottle bought together with the original rating, BBE 03-2017). Now much more round and mostly sweet, with intense notes of caramel, toffee, sweet liquorice, prunes, apricot, dates, oak, bourbon whiskey and vanilla. Would now rate 8-3-9-4-17 = 4.1

Bottle 66 cl. Pours an opaque black with a beige head. Sweet roast and licorice aroma. Rich, malty body, subtle smoak, a hint of licorice with a malty bitter finish. 261215

ChrisO Tasting. Clear dark amber - brown beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Dark toffee malts, a little cream. Spot of tea! Mild spice. Light dry finish. Fine.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, raisin, plums, dades, prunes, caramel, tobacco and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly warm, dried fruity, carmael, chocolate, ash and roasted malt finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle from Kvickly. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some roast and licorice. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

66 cl bottle, shared. Hazy, dark brown colour with a dense, creamy tanned head. Sweet aroma with dark malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel malts, fruity hints. Taste is sweet-roasted. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with dark malts and chocolate. Nice Porter. However, nor that complex.

Aroma: roasted malt and coffee. Flavour: dark roasted malt with coffee and slight fruity sweetness. Finish is fairly bitter. Colour: very dark reddish brown with a light brown head.
