(Can) Pours slightly hazy amber brown with good off-white head. Pleasant, albeit restrained, aroma of toffee with hints of bread. Medium body with good carbonation. Good toffee malt balanced with some herbal hops and modest bitterness. Good straightforward beer, well executed.

Bottle at Chriso’s Xmas Tasting 2015. It pours clear light amber with a thick white head. The nose is soft, sweet, toasted, icing sugar, esters and stone fruits. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, spice, wood, leather, sweet apple, pear and toasted brown bread with a dry, toasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Simple, but pretty ok overall.
