Can at home. Pours black, nose is dark chocolate, roasted coffee, earthy, toffee, taste is bitter, burnt coffee, dark chocolate not really getting any coconut.

16 oz. can from The Bat Cave. Pours a super dark brown color with a thick light brown head and great retention. Good lacing. Coffee and roasted malt aroma. The flavor has roasted malt, light vanilla (lactose?) and even lighter coffee notes, with a lightly boozy finish. Some dark chocolate bitterness. No coconut. A nice balance between the sweet and bitter flavors. The 8.4% ABV is evident, yet subdued. More coffee flavor than I prefer, but still an above average imperial stout for me. Medium-heavy body. Light carbonation. Medium-light bitterness.

Medium brown. Thin head. Aroma is weak coffee, but it's more complex on the palate. The coconut and coffee are in balance, and the brown sugar slides in there. The base is light and struggles under the weight of the adjuncts.

Can pour share from AirForceHops--thanks, Chris. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, thin ring of beige head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong dark chocolate, cookies, coconut, coffee, roasted malt. Taste is strong and follows aroma with lactose as well. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, silky texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with hint of booze and alcohol warmth at very end. Overall, impressive that just about every adjunct is discernible and they all play nice together. I'm conflicted whether I want it to be thicker as a meaty dessert stout or I appreciate the fact that it isn't so heavy. Probably about perfect the way it is.

Can date of 12/23/19. Purchased at Spruce Creek provisions. Aroma is just as luscious as the flavor. Coconut, mild chocolate, and mild lasting coffee lingering in the finish. Body is bold with a smooth creamy texture. Tasty and not overly sweet!!
