Keg at the Granta, Cambridge. Golden and clear, with a fair bit of carbonation. Light appley smell tinged with a hint of metal. Hmmmm. Roboapple. Tastes far too sweet and a bit sickly but I got used to it, and even started to enjoy it. There’s just a touch of tartness in the finish. Better than I thought it would be, but I doubt I’ll be having it again.

Keg at Kings Arms, thanks to J&C. It pours clear pale gold with a small white head.. The aroma is fresh, sweet, juicy, apple pie & custard, tart tatin, funk and light vanilla. The taste is crisp, tangy, woody, funky, apple peel, tannin, light alcohol, apple pie, white grape and fruit pie with a short, dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty nice balance to it.
