12oz can pours an oily and leggy black with some ringing beige head. Nose has some clear oxidation, cherry and cardboard, molasses and malt and cocoa and some smoke. Flavor has loads of maple and booze and Kahlua, malt and licorice and cherry cordial and chocolate syrup. Full bodied, oily finish.

Can. A- Booze, maple. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Maple, chocolate, whisky. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, strong finish. O- This is a huge beer. After 6 months of age, I think it could still use another year or two. Nice as it but be ready for an in your face beer. The booze is much stronger on the nose than palate. Think I might actually like year one better than year two. Coffee is barely there.

Aroma shows soft maple, light bourbon, moderate coffee. Alcohol shows a little bit, but the flavor is awesome. Mild lingering bourbon, coffee, chocolate. Really great!!
